You may already know United Way of Deschutes County provides funding to 26 local agencies and that we work closely with more than 40 volunteers who take responsibility for allocating the dollars we raise during our annual fundraising campaign. And you may have heard that one-in-three people were helped this past year. Yet those details don’t describe the actual people who are affected by the donation you make to the United Way.
Together we have made a difference
Your contribution, combined with that of others, helped provide nearly 70,000 whispers of hope to people from all walks of life.
We don’t always realize how much difference one person can make when they choose to give, advocate or volunteer; and the gesture of hope it creates for someone who made need our help. Yet for the recipient, a whisper of hope can be the box of much-needed food, sanctuary from the cold, protection from violence or simply a kind word of support when we need it most.
Together, Through our Agency Partners, We Help People.
That’s our one, single goal – to help as many people in Deschutes County as we can.
Thank you for your contribution that makes it all possible.
