Results Matter
Because your gift to United Way improves people’s lives in Deschutes County,
each day:
-
A homeless child
receives shelter, clothes and counseling.
-
A disabled man lives
in his own apartment and does meaningful work in the community.
-
An abused mother and
her child sleep soundly in the safety of a shelter.
-
Senior citizens
retain their independence because hot, nutritious meals are
delivered to their homes.
Community Priorities
United Way of Deschutes County's Community Priorities help focus the efforts of our
community. The priority areas have been set, based on
community needs, by a diverse group of people who are
dedicated to making a difference in people’s lives.
Our goal is to direct community energy and resources to
areas where they will get
the greatest results.
Thanks to generous
donors like you, people from all walks of life were able to receive
