Promoting Mental & Physical Well-being
Good health is a basic need that impacts every aspect of our daily life. We all need healthy environments to live healthy lives. That happens by ensuring that children and youth are nurtured and safe, by people making healthy choices, accessing quality health care and assisting vulnerable people to be included and not isolated.
United Way is committed to working towards social innovations that help promote healthy lifestyles, improve overall well-being, and broaden access to health services. Together we can build a healthier community that supports and encourages people to support one another in this endeaver.
The following reports provided by the Central Oregon Regional Health Council will help guide our work.
The 2015 Central Oregon Regional Health Assessment seeks to serve as a snapshot of our community’s health in time.
The 2016-2019 Central Oregon Regional Health Improvement Plan addresses the broad issues of health and the specifics of health care within our diverse region of Central Oregon.
