Lifting Mankind a Little Higher

Summit Society Mountains

The spectacular Cascade Mountains skyline provides a dramatic background for our unique Central Oregon community; unique because of the setting as well as the character of the people who live here.

These majestic mountain peaks serve as benchmarks for the Summit Society; recognizing those individuals who demonstrate the highest level of commitment to the quality of life within our community by giving $1,000 or more.

Living within the shadows of our peaked horizon are people in need of help:  women and children victimized by physical and mental abuse, elderly living in vulnerable isolation, individuals and families existing in poverty or near-poverty. These people seek the most basic of human needs - food, shelter and safety.

Collectively, through the spirit of leadership giving, members of the Summit Society make a difference by demonstrating uncommon benevolence in addressing local human needs through support of the United Way of Deschutes County.

We invite you to accept the challenge to ascend to new heights of stewardship through the Summit Society.
