UNITED WAY ANNOUNCES RFP - COLLECTIVE IMPACT GRANTS

United Way of Deschutes County (UWDC) is pleased to announce the release of the Request for Proposals (RFP) for its 2017-2018 Collective Impact Strategy Grants process. The RFP will cover the program period of July 1, 2017 – June 30, 2018.

United Way of Deschutes County is committed to creating lasting change in conditions that foster or perpetuate critical issues and problems that affect our community by bringing together people and organizations that, working together, can make visible and measureable change.  To tackle our community’s toughest challenges we lead, support and invest in community efforts focusing on the building blocks of opportunity – education, financial stability and health to ensure that all our children are safe and prepared to succeed in school and in life, a safety net of services is in place to help people in crisis, and individuals and families are safe, healthy and able to thrive.

To be eligible to apply for a Collective Impact Strategy Grant for 2017-18, applicants must be a non-profit organization providing human services in Deschutes County.  

To apply, organizations must first complete and submit a Letter of Intent (LOI) form, available online at www.deschutesunitedway.org/LOI.   All LOI’s must be received by 2:00pm, Friday, April 14, 2017.

Applicants will be notified by April 21, 2017 if they are eligible to submit a full proposal, which will be due by May 12, 2017

All requests will be assessed on a competitive basis and applicants are not guaranteed to receive funding.  The review process will use standard criteria, including applicant programs’ alignment with the United Way of Deschutes County Community Impact Priorities.
