Jeff Ludeman, United Way of Deschutes County board member and 2011 campaign chair, has much to feel good about (and perhaps a little to be sore about)! On Saturday, October 15th, at approximately 3:20p.m. Jeff completed his solo “Give From the Heart Marathon”.

Yes he did all 26 miles of it! He was kind enough to pace himself to the speed of those who wanted to walk or jog with him. He had company on every lap. Ultimately Jeff was moving for a continuous 7 hours! For some great images visit us on FACEBOOK.

With the accomplishment of this personal challenge, Jeff leaves his mark on the 2011 United Way of Deschutes County campaign. Jeff’s efforts and personal sacrifice raised over $6,500 for United Way of Deschutes County to direct to the funding of local social service programs. Thank you Jeff!
